Salary Range:
Registered Speech Therapist V: $68,744.00 – $73,132.80 Annually
Registered Speech Therapist VI: $75,524.80 Annually
Shift Available: Full-time
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
- Provide speech therapy for Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) enrolled clients
- Coordinate initial assessment, updates, and IFSP’s (Individual Family Service Plans) with ECI staff
- Act as Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to help authorize and coordinate medically necessary services per ECI policy
- Maintain all paperwork and other duties relevant to speech therapy per Health and Human Services (HHSC) standards
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
Registered Speech Therapist V
- Master’s Degree in Communication Disordered or related field
- Must qualify as a clinical fellow
- Maintain a current Intern Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license, in good standing, with the ability to become a fully licensed SLP within 15 months
- This position is contingent upon SLP supervision, which will be provided by TPC
- Position may not go longer than 30 days without required supervision
- May qualify as a Registered Speech Therapist VI after becoming a fully licensed SLP
- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Registered Speech Therapist VI
- Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders or related field
- Maintain a current license in Speech Therapy and in good standing
- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:
- Ability to speak Spanish
- Experience in Early Childhood Intervention
