Location & Program:Amarillo, Texas – Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)
Salary Range:
Salary: $57,033.60 Annually
Shift Available: Full-time
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
- Will provide counseling to children and families enrolled in Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) services
- They will coordinate initial assessment, updates, and IFSP’s (Individual Family Service Plans) with ECI Staff
- They will also act as Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to help authorize and coordinate medically necessary services per ECI policy
- Will be required to maintain all paperwork and other duties relevant to speech therapy per Health and Human Services (HHSC) standards
Required qualifications to be successful in the job:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited University in a human service field
- Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners; Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners or professional Counselors; Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists; OR Licensed Psychologist licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:
- Experience working for Early Childhood Intervention
- Ability to speak Spanish
