Behavioral Health Associate Psychologist I [0069] E

Amarillo, Texas – Behavioral Health

Salary Range:

Salary: $57,033.60 Annually

Shift Available: Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
  • Serves as Clinician for Child and Adolescent Program and responsible for providing CBT counseling for individuals who qualify for those services in compliance with HHSC requirements
  • Other duties as needed includes: intake assessments, crisis intervention, & case management services
  • Services can be provided in the home, school, community, and office with flexible hours to accommodate the client’s schedule
  • Requirements will include traveling in regional areas as needed.
  • Clinician must complete a CBT training as required and indicated by HHSC

Required qualifications to be successful in the job:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited University in a human service field
  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA)
  • The LPHA (LPC, LCSW) must be in good standing in the State of Texas
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:

  • Bilingual
  • Experience working with youth and families
