Salary Range:

Salary: $15.66/hr

Shift Available: Full-time

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Staff will maintain ethical and professional communications at all times using respectful Trauma-Informed Care language
  • The person in this position provides administrative support to the Behavioral Health outpatient programs at TPC
  • The primary location for these services are at the Texas Panhandle Centers Behavioral Health Polk Street Adult Outpatient Clinic
  • Programs located at the Center include Intake, Nursing, Case Management, Financial, Medication, Telehealth Prescriber Services, and other clinical needs services
  • Daily responsibilities include: answering the incoming calls and directing the callers to the services identified, assisting in the coordination of appointments with prescriber services, nursing, case management, financial, medication unit and other services needed for the person’s recovery
  • The person in this position will work closely with the treatment team to help facilitate the timely coordination of services
  • Professional and accurate completion of all clerical functions conducted in a consistent manner with TPC standards is required
  • The person in this position will maintain a positive rapport with staff, consumers, community stakeholders and other agency personnel and exercise vigilance in adhering to confidentiality procedures
  • This person will work within the treatment team and use person centered approaches to best fit the recovery goals of the individual in treatment
  • Duties are performed in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • The person in this position adheres to TPC Business Code of Conduct and reports concerns if ethical and/or business standards defined in the code are compromised

Required qualifications to be successful in the job:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One (1) year clerical work experience
  • Computer knowledge and basic clerical skills
  • Correct utilization of grammar, spelling and punctuation
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable under agency vehicle policy
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred qualifications to be successful in the job:

  • Experience working in a Behavioral Health Setting
  • Bilingual
